SYSTEM COMPONENTS The ships to track (MOBILES) must be equipped with a satellite communication system, the receiving post (BASE) will be equipped with a PC (running W95/98/NT), a modem connected to the phone line and INTERNET access. The base PC will have MAXSEA® POSREP software installed, in order to receive and display the ships positions. The shipping company will get one nominative subscription to the POSREP.COM® service and will be given one E-mail address where each ship will send its position message.
